3.1 Overview¶
Projects are the first level beneath your company. They can be used to structure and divide your Transports into groups.
Useful project groupings may be:
- affiliated companies of your company
- customers, that you deliver to regularely
- suppliers
- way of transportation (ship, truck, etc.)
- security level of the transport (low security, high security)
All settings that you change for a project will transfer to the suplly chains and transports of the project. Geofences and waypoints need to be activated first in order for them to be available at lower levels.
Should you set up waypoints or geofences in a project, they can be made available to supply chains and transports of the project via activation.
3.2 Creating Projects¶
In order to create a new project, select your company in the navigation bar.
Select the menu item "Projects" from the menu bar. A list of all existing projects should open.
To create a new project, simply click on the "New" button in the top left corner of your workspace.
Enter a unique name, as well as an optional description in the corresponding text fields and confirm by clicking "Ok". The new project is now created and can be filled with supply chains.
