- 5.1 Creating a Transport
5.1.1 Setting up a Transport¶
To set up a transport, please select the according project and supply chain in the navigation bar.
Next, select the menu item "Transports" from the top menu bar within the workspace.
Three buttons will appear on the bottom right corner of the workspace. Select the button "New".
A window will open, displaying a dialogue for a new transport. Enter the name and an optional description and confirm by clicking "Ok".
5.1.1.1 Start time and End time¶
The transport opens automatically after being set up. On the first screen you may set up a start time for your transport.
The end time should be selected with enough time (5 days after expected arrival are recommendet) for the transport to arrive late (customs, traffic, etc) and not be endet before arrival. Transports should be ended manually, if at all possible.
By clicking "Save" on the lower right corner of the workspace, the information within the current page is saved and the next tab is selected.
5.1.1.2 Selecting Modules¶
The amount of tabs is in direct correlation to the number of different types of modules within your company. Select the tab with the type of module you want to select.
Check the box in front of the module(s) you want to add to the transport. Always save the changes with clicking the "Save" button, before clicking on different tabs.
5.1.1.3 Boxes and KeyPads¶

5.1.1.4 Geofences and Waypoints¶
To select geofences or waypoints, select the corresponding tabs on the lower part of the workspace. Here you may select existing ones or create them for the specific transport. Detailed tutorials can be found in the respective chapters.
