Software problems¶
Display problems¶
- Please use the most recent version of the Mozilla Firefox Browser.
- Refresh the page by holding "Ctrl" and pressing "F5" at the same time. In rare occasions it may help to repeat this step multiple times.
- In case of missing fields, please check for any installed plugins that may corrupt the display of the CargoLive Website. Try disabling them for testing.
- Should display errors appear on multiple computers in your company, please try to contact your system administrator in order to check your local firewall settings.
- Should there be missing GPS-dots on the map, please check the time frame that is displayed in the map. Click on the card settings (button on the side of the map) and select a correct time frame that includes the transport.
Created geofences or waypoints are not available on transports¶
- Please ensure that the geofence or waypoint has been activated throughout the different levels above it. For a more detailed guide, please click here (geofences) or here (waypoints).
Please note that transports that use waypoints or geofences from higher levels may only be created AFTER the waypoints or geofences have been activated. Previously created Transports can not use geofences and waypoints that were activated later.
Geofence or waypoint changes are not saved¶
- Please make sure to save any changes via the save button on the top right corner of the workspace when changing waypoints or geofences.
Countless "out of geofence" alarms for no reason¶
- The transport may be in an area with bad reception and rely on GSM location instead of GPS. GSM locating can be far less accurate and display the transport to be in a different location that it actually is. As soon as the reception is getting better, the alarms should stop.
- The width of the geofence might be set too narrow. For further information please click here
Hardware problems¶
LED blinking behavior¶
- Red LED blinking constantly = Extremely low battery. Please charge.
- always on = SIM is searching for network
- blinking once = SIM has found network
- blinking twice = SIM is connected to network
- blinking three times = SIM card cannot be read
- blinking once = GPRS Session
- blinking twice = GPS 2D-fix
- blinking three times = GPS 3D-fix
Doorsensor sending false and/or constantly changing values¶
- If an AG52-WD is sending the wrong door state, or it is constantly changing, the leaver is most likely not being pushed in enough by the door.
Please try to increase the pressure on the leaver, by sticking another adapter plate on the wing door that will have contact with the leaver, right on the contact spot.
Box cannot be opened¶
- A box can only be opened once it is placed on a transport. Also, it has to communicate at least once with the CargoLive servers (send and receive data) in order to receive the new permission set for the opening of the lock. During this, the box has to have an active GSM connection. Once it has sent and received data at least once, it may be placed somewhere with bad connectivity (e.g. a safe room, storage space etc) and also be opened there.
- All changes regarding permissions to open a box will only be applied once the box has sent at least one set of data on an active transport (and thus also received data from the server where the permissions were changed).
- As a last resort, given the right permissions, it is possible to perform an "emergency opening". In order to do so, open up the detail page of the transport in question. Below the name of the box you will find a drop down menu. Select the entry "Emergency opening" from it and confirm by entering your personal password. You will be shown an emergency opening PIN. With this you will be able to open the box, even without it having a connection to the server, as the PIN is saved in the box.
