5.4 State of a Transport¶

Transports can have different states at different times. The following list should clear up the meanings of the different terms.

• "New" - The transport was created and saved. It is at this time not activated and will not change into "Started" once it reaches its set start time.
• "Configured" - The transport has been created, saved, activated and contains at least one module. Once the start time is reached, it will automatically switch into the state "Started".
• "Started" - The transport is active and has passed the start time. The modules of the transport should send data and warnings and alarms may be activated as appropriate.
• "Ended" - The transport has either reached its configured end time, or has been ended manually. The transport will be available for review on the CargoLive system for a set amount of time before being deleted by the system. It can be reviewed and/or exported as explained here.
